One of the most insightful things that we can learn is that we all need boundaries. Countries have them, neighbors put fences on them, Heaven establishes them, and we need them in our lives. Boundaries are Biblical and they are wisdom. Without them life becomes chaos and we become a doormat for other people and their whims and opinions. You will notice that when we protect our boundaries that some people will begin to blame us for their issues. Gaslighting has become popular in our day. This leaves many people feeling guilty about the boundaries that they do set. This manipulation leaves many feeling conflicted because they are made out to be the problem. Which of course is not true at all. I believe that God is teaching many of us how to set healthy boundaries without any consternation. It is possible to say yes to the things we need to and No to the things we have no obligation to entertain.
